- Drainage of grain – liners and augers
- High wear areas on tap cars
- Hammer mill sieves
- Toes for cutters (Claas Disco and others)
- Body work for wagons, trucks etc.
Due to the high corrosive properties of certain grains, there is a lot of “down time” every year, which is spent on equipment such as tapping carts, harvesters, augers, etc. As soon as one looks at harder steel, bendability and weldability is a dilemma. The other option is to switch to thicker material, which of course has a whole series of consequences such as stronger hinges/cooler bearings etc., etc. Toughen-Up has different options that can dramatically reduce “down time” and has just the right steel with fantastic anti-wear properties that can be bent and welded.
In some cases we only put in a “liner” to protect the existing piece of equipment and in other cases we replace it with an entirely new design. Due to the good wear-resistant properties, this means that we can deliver a much better product without making the existing piece of equipment much heavier.
Toughen-Up is collaboration of mr. Cassie Bresler from Silostrat has already done several tests that can be used to your advantage.
